Sara Bergman

Co-Founder / Board of Trustees

In recovery since January 1996, Sara has consistently carried the message of contented recovery to women in the program. She has held various leadership positions in her home group over the years and stays active by chairing meetings and committees and organizing and overseeing events in the recovery community.

She previously served as Secretary on the Board of New Hope Women’s Center, is currently serving as Secretary to the Camel Lodge, and is a member of the SETA District 70 Committee. Her passion lies in helping women seeking sobriety find a new way of life through 12-step sponsorship, fellowship, and service.

She has worked as an Office Administrator for over 30 years in multiple fields.

 Kathryn Curtice

 Co-Founder / Board of Trustees

In recovery since November 1999, Kathryn has spent the better part of her time in the program being of service. She feels that giving back is an essential part of her recovery process.

Kathryn currently works as the Executive Assistant to Houston icon Welcome Wilson, Sr. Over the last 15 years and she has planned and organized numerous significant events, such as book signings, large weddings, and gallery openings. In addition, her work includes fundraising for various charitable organizations, the University of Houston, local Republican politicians, and presidential candidates.

Kathryn formerly served as Activities Chair for both the Chance for Freedom Group and New Hope Women's Center, where her efforts raised much-needed funds for both organizations.

Sheri Dallas

Board of Trustees

In recovery since 2008, Sheri's main goal is to be of service to women in recovery.

Sheri served as House Supervisor at Cenikor Treatment Facility in Deer Park, where she oversaw the daily activities of up to 180 residents. In addition, she recently served on the Board of Trustees and Activities Committee at New Hope Women's Center.

Sheri has a long history in the commercial and residential construction industry and assumed management of her family's gutter service business in 2016.
