SIR House Program

Our Program

What To Expect

SIR House opened the doors to its first location located at 2601 Pasadena Blvd. on February 8, 2020, with the primary goal to offer a safe, structured living environment for women who have been sober a short time and need stability and support in setting and maintaining recovery goals and commitments.

We encourage and assist our residents in becoming productive members of the community by developing and practicing healthy life habits. We emphasize structure, accountability, and independence to assist in growing mentally, spiritually, and socially.

SIR House offers its residents the opportunity to increase personal skill levels in the areas of

  • Honesty
  • Accountability
  • Selflessness
  • Social Interaction
  • Goal Setting and Achievement
  • Personal and Financial Growth
  • Obtaining and Maintaining Gainful Employment

We serve only adult women who are committed to maintaining sobriety, thus creating an environment where residents can quickly develop friendships and a sober support system. Seeing other women succeed is a great motivator and resource for the newcomer.

SIR House is not a treatment facility, and we offer no therapeutic or medical services. We are a supplement to recovery and an alternative to going from an immersive care environment straight to a completely unstructured environment.

Sober living is an excellent choice for women with any of these circumstances:

  • New to the 12-step program of recovery
  • Previous residence has alcohol/drug users
  • Have nowhere to reside after treatment
  • Returning home is stressful for her and family members
  • Need a stronger support system
  • Need to avoid isolation/loneliness

We are committed to helping our residents apply the principles of a 12-step program in their lives and to be proactive and accountable for their recovery.

Residency Requirements

  • Minimum 30 days of sobriety
  • Active Involvement in 12-Step Recovery – must attend meetings and maintain a sponsor
  • Participate in daily meditation
  • Attend weekly house meeting
  • Perform daily chores
  • Gainfully employed or seeking employment
  • Agree to abide by house rules
